About City Palace Udaipur
The City Palace is a palace complex in Udaipur, built over a period of nearly 400 years. It is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan.
History
The palace was built by Maharana Udai Singh II as he founded the city of Udaipur in 1559. His successors added several palaces and structures over the centuries.
